We want to welcome back Mrs. Gustafson.   As you may know, she was critically injured while on a trip with her family to California.   A huge wave crashed down on her, breaking her back.

This last week, she made her way back to her classroom after undergoing treatment for the last four months.   She has to get around differently than before, but her determination to help her first-grade students is just as strong as ever.   Mrs. Gustafson returned to many questions from her seven-year-old friends about the big changes in her life.

Throughout it all, she demonstrates that we can go through hardships and setbacks and still keep going.

This is Hyrum. He is a first grader who happens to be blind. Hyrum is a good helper who wanted to push Mrs. Gustafson back to class after recess this morning.
Relationships! They make the ASD World go round. Way to go Hyrum and Mrs. G!
